About Jamie
Jamie Furlong is a bespoke furniture maker based in South Devon, known for creating one-of-a-kind pieces that combine meticulous craftsmanship with natural beauty. Trained by master furniture makers Marc Fish and Theo Cook at the renowned Robinson House Studio, Jamie brings a rare blend of technical precision and creative finesse to his work.
Before founding his workshop, Jamie worked in engineering and spent several years aboard private superyachts in the Mediterranean — an experience that sharpened his eye for detail, precision, and the highest standards of finish. These values now underpin every commission he undertakes, from statement cabinetry to quiet architectural pieces.
His designs often draw inspiration from nature — particularly the grain, texture, and origin of British hardwoods — resulting in contemporary pieces rooted in tradition.
In 2024, Jamie was shortlisted as a World Maker for two standout works, highlighting his growing reputation in the world of fine furniture. He lives in South Devon with his wife and young son, taking on commissions across the UK for private clients, architects, and interior designers alike.
